Tallahassee Civil Rights Lawyer Benjamin Crump is representing multiple students injured in a Jackson County school bus accident this Wednesday.
Some 72 students suffered injuries when a semi-truck crashed into two stopped school buses, picking up students on U.S. 90. Most were treated and released, although some students remain hospitalized. Civil rights lawyer Benjamin Crump says he will help the families move forward with medical and psychological care.
“We know that the truck crashed into them from behind. We need to know why wasn’t he paying attention, what happened? But then it’s the solutions. It really is about the solutions, of how they get from day to day to day dealing with injured children,” he said.
Crump and personal injury lawyer LaDray Gilbert will be representing some 14 families affected by the crash. Crump says they plan to hold the truck driver and trucking company accountable for any wrongdoing.
