A Goodwill program focusing on helping at-risk youth is receiving a big donation. As Andrew Mitchell reports, the funding is meant to help character building for children.
Florida State University Credit Union is donating more than $3,000 to a Goodwill program. It is called Good Guides and Goodwill’s spokeswoman Donna Wright says it will benefit at-risk children.
“The Good Guides Youth Mentoring Program is a program where we focus on at risk youth in all throughout our community," Wright says. "And we search and provide mentors for these youth.”
She says the prime objective is character education. The bank presented the donation at its newest location off Thomasville Road, which opens tomorrow
