http://smokeouttallahassee.com

Smoke Out Tallahassee is this weekend. It’s a local take on a national event to encourage people to quit smoking.

North Florida Women’s Health Care is partnering with the Big Bend Area Health Education Center to host the 2nd annual event on Saturday.

It’s derived from the Great American Smoke Out day, which is the third Thursday of November.

The Tallahassee event is expected to feature vendors, who will provide information on how to quit smoking.

There will also be food demonstrations, education lectures, and health screenings.

Smoke Out Tallahassee takes place at the Turnbull Conference Center on Florida State University’s campus at 10 a.m. Saturday.
