The WFSU News Department has begun its own Twitter feed of the stories heard on the station’s air each day. The new handle, @WFSUNews, will aggregate content from everyone in the WFSU newsroom and will feature regular live-tweeting from news events happening in North Florida and South Georgia. “I’m really pleased we were able to do this,” says WFSU News Director Stan Jastrzebski. “There’s every evidence that a vibrant social media presence is integral to a truly connected newsroom today, so I wanted to build on the WFSU News brand through Twitter as soon as possible.”
