As voters from Florida's Second House District head to the polls for a special election to fill the seat left empty when Representative Clay Ford, lost his battle with cancer in March. Authorities are investigating the theft of more than thirty ballots cast by early voters from one Santa Rosa County Precinct. Ryan Benk spoke to the county’s Elections Supervisor Tappie Villane. Voters will cast their ballots Tuesday.

From the current special election in Santa Rosa County to rip currents in Bay County, officials are warning swimmers against braving the rough waters. Sascha Cordner is catching up with authorities in Bay County

Meanwhile, Intern Nick Evans is catching up with veterans groups to discuss a recent milestone for Florida’s Veterans Affairs network, which has hired more than fifteen hundred new mental health professionals to help deal with the influx of returning veterans with mental issues like post-traumatic stress disorder.
