Halloween Howl Seeks Volunteers for Its 18th Year

Halloween Howl at the Tallahassee Museum is gearing up for its 18th year and is seeking volunteers. On the nights of October 26th and 27th the Tallahassee Museum will be taken over by the spirit of Halloween. The Haunted Trail is making a return visit for those who want a scare along with carnival games and trick-or-treating throughout the park. But they’ve also got something new in store.

“On the second night, we actually very very pleased to announce that the farm is going to be taken over by the Star Wars Legion actors. So they’re going to come out with an R2D2, Darth Vader, and kinds of great costumes. There’s going to be some great photo-ops for the kids out there.” Says Tallahassee Museum Spokeswoman Sarah Turner.

For those wanting to volunteer, the Museum is accepting volunteers until the day of the event, but the positions are first time first serve. Turner says some of the more fun positions are filling up fast so the sooner you sign up the better. Most volunteers need to be over 18. Those under 18 will need parental supervision.
