Tallahassee, FL – It's time for the third annual Divas and Desserts Holiday Marketplace, hosted by the Tallahassee chapter of Business and Professional Women.
Co-Chair Emma Washington says this is holiday shopping for a good cause, since a portion of the proceeds will go to Chelsea House, a local non-profit that aids homeless and battered women.
"We have live music, a deejay, specialty cocktails, complimentary desserts, complimentary gourmet coffee bar, awesome shopping, and of course, great networking. You can meet a lot of cool people."
There will also be door prizes. Washington says vendors for the family friendly event include professional services, crafts, and jewelry.
"We have a lot of different vendors providing a really great variety for last minute shopping. So not only is it unique, one of a kind, but since the event is on December 16th, you can kind of come in, have a couple of drinks, have something to eat, and grab the stuff you forgot at the mall."
Divas and Desserts will be held Thursday, December 16th from 6pm to 9pm at the University Center Club. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. The event is open to anyone.
