Tallahassee, FL – The FAMU Marching 100 returns to Tallahassee Sunday from Miami, where the band performed during the pre-game show for the Super Bowl. Lynn Hatter traveled with the band and prepared this report.

It's not every day that the National Football League comes calling. But for the Florida A&M University Marching 100 band, that call has come three times in the last five years. Dr. Julian E. White is the director of bands. He says each time the band gets that call it's both an honor and a privilege.

"That kind of endorsement means to me and the Marching 100 that there is a stamp of approval on the high level and quality of entertainment that we bring to America."

White says when the NFL called this time, they requested a show dedicated to the music of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and that's exactly what the Hundred gave them.
