Health Advocates Rally for Last Minute Push to Reform
By Lynn Hatter
Tallahassee, FL – The fate of the healthcare reform bill is still up in the air in Washington, but a group of Florida advocates took to the steps of the Old Capitol Thursday to say they want the Senate to go with the House version of the bill. In the last week, Senators have stripped out a plan to lower the eligibility age of Medicare. As Lynn Hatter reports, the group says if the Senate takes out anything else, there won't be a bill to pass.
