Tallahassee, Fl – Florida's scores on the National Assessment of Educational Progress
show the state is closing the achievement gap between minority and white
students and boosting the number of those able to perform basic math skills.
But in the most recent results released Wednesday, the state is still
falling just shy of national benchmarks. Lynn Hatter reports.
