Tallahassee, FL – The editorial cartoonist -- a watchdog on American democracy since 1754 -- is an endangered species. "Disappearing Ink," an exhibit of original work by 11 Florida editorial cartoonists, opens Feb. 24, noon-2 p.m., in the Gallery of Florida A&M University's School of Journalism and Graphic Communication. The exhibitors hope to raise awareness statewide that their work is vital to a strong democracy.
The Jeff Parker cartoon at right will be posted in the FAMU Gallery for visitors to write in what they think Governor Crist is saying.
