Tallahassee, Fl – Tallahassee is still growing, even as more Florida cities are losing population. Tom Flanigan has that story

The Capital City added just over two-thousand new residents to its population between July of 2006 and 2007. That one-point-three percent increase brought the city's total population to nearly a hundred sixty-nine thousand. The latest U.S. census report showed a bigger growth rate in places like Orlando and Miami. Port St. Lucie saw the biggest population increase of any Florida city at six-point-three-percent. But the report also showed a growing number of Florida cities losing residents. In fact, six of the twenty-five fastest shrinking cities in the nation were in Florida.
