About Be My Neighbor Day
In 2017, WFSU’s first-ever Be My Neighbor Day brought over 3,000 families from all across North Florida and South Georgia to meet Daniel Tiger, ride the trolley, and be a part of the Neighborhood of Make Believe at the Centre of Tallahassee!
For the past three years, the City of Tallahassee has partnered with WFSU to bring this fun-filled event to downtown Tallahassee. During these events, attendees “took the ’T’” across the Neighborhood of Make Believe, stopping to meet Daniel Tiger and his friends, watch episodes of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and craft and explore with neighbors at the Leroy Collins Library, Challenger Learning Center, LeMoyne Art Center, and Florida Historic Capitol Museum.
