According to a Florida Policy Institute analyst, the law puts an unfair burden on those who are singlehandedly supporting children, parents, or people with disabilities.

More than 386,000 applications for the upcoming school year have been submitted, surpassing the number of vouchers awarded last school year.

The Florida Policy Institute ranked each county for children's wellness. The state saw improvements across the board, but Leon County ranked 38th in overall child well-being.
