The Florida Consumer Action Network is warning parents looking for a deal this Christmas to make sure they're not buying recalled toys. The group released a report today saying they found multiple listings of recalled toys on resale sites like eBay. The Network's Bill Newton says parents need to be extra careful.

"People tend to assume when they buy something, especially from one of the larger sites—eBay or Amazon has a lot of secondary sellers too—that somebody's checked. That somebody's made sure this stuff is safe," Newton says.

Amazon and eBay state on their website that listing recalled items is not allowed. But Newton says some toys still slip through the cracks.
