Florida business can get back to business as usual. Governor Ron DeSantis says he’s lifting all capacity restrictions. National Federation of the Independent Business in Florida Director Bill Herrle believes it comes at the right time.

"Many businesses had spent all the PPP money that was made available to them and the final quarter was looking very season of great jeopardy for the survival of some businesses," said Herrle. "Moving to Phase 3 gives them great hope that they’ll be there at the end of the year providing products and services that customers want."

DeSantis’ newest executive order also stops cities from collecting fines related to mask mandates. The phased plan still suggests social distancing protocols and sanitation practices be used.
