Florida Governor Rick Scott is unveiling his final budget proposal in office.

But with a widely rumored U.S. Senate bid in the works, Scott is swinging for the fences with a spending plan almost $4 billion larger than the one he proposed last year.

“This budget is $87.4 billion," Scott says,  "It includes tax cuts historic investments for families and over five billion dollars in reserves.”

The budget Governor Scott approved earlier this year came in at $82.9 billion—a bit lower than his initial proposal.  His new plan represents a 5.4 percent bump on current spending.
