The memorial service for former Florida Senator Greg Evers will take place Monday and the funeral service will occur Tuesday.

Both the visitation and funeral services will occur at the First Baptist Church of Milton, located at 6797 Caroline Street.

Monday’s visitation starts at 5 p.m. CST, and should end at 7 p.m. Tuesday’s funeral service will start at 1 p.m. The family is asking for donations to salute Florida’s fallen heroes be made in Evers’ memory, in lieu of flowers.

Evers died Monday. The 62-year-old’s pickup truck was found in a roadside creek a day later. Authorities say no other vehicles were involved.
