Rumor Mill Spins While Bondi Stays On Message

With speculation swirling that she is about to join President-elect Donald Trump’s nascent administration, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was in Tampa Friday promoting Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

Bondi drew attention to digital signs at Tampa International Airport promoting an anti-trafficking website.

“It’s horror for our state and our country and that’ why we must do everything to stop it. So please, please, read the signs, ‘youcanstopHT.com.’”

Bondi has variously been rumored to be Trump’s next attorney general, drug czar or White House counsel, none of which has materialized. A spokesman says he does not know the source of the rumors.
