As Hurricane Matthew barrels down on the East Coast of Florida, Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater is urging Floridians to make sure their financial files are in order.
Atwater says homeowners should review their insurance policies so they know their deductibles. Also, he says homeowners should also put together an inventory of their belongings so they know what’s been lost or damaged.
And Atwater says policy holders should remember to bring the name, address and phone numbers for filing a claim if they’re forced to evacuate.
