Sanders Delegate Predicts Tempers Will Cool

A Miami lawmaker who was just named as a Bernie Sanders delegate to the Democratic National Convention says predictions of strife this summer in Philadelphia are overblown.

Senator Dwight Bullard says Sanders supporters will get behind Senator Hillary Clinton in the likely event she wins the nomination.

However, Bullard says party officials will have to stress issues like climate change if they want to hold on to millennials and other Sanders supporters.

He says a crack-down on crime and deregulation of the financial industry during the Clinton Administration in the 1990s led to mass incarceration and the Wall Street bailout.
