Scott's Job Recipe Includes A Pinch Of Creole

Fresh from a job-poaching trip to California, Governor Rick Scott is setting his sights on another “LA” -- Louisiana.

Scott says he’ll head to the Bayou State sometime this summer in hopes of convincing businesses there to relocate. Meanwhile, Scott is enthusiastically prosecuting a war of words with his former host, Golden State Governor Jerry Brown.

“California is about, according to a lot of surveys, the worst place to do businesses, whether it’s their taxes, their regulations. They’ve raised the minimum wage to 15 dollars, which means 700 thousand people are going to lose their job. I want all those jobs in Florida.”

Scott pronounced his California trip “successful,” telling reporters he met with more than a dozen businesses. No word yet on his Louisiana itinerary.
