All Saints Prepares For Inaugural Culture Crawl

This weekend the All Saints Art District is kicking off a new monthly series.  They’re calling it the First Saturdays Culture Crawl.

More than a dozen businesses in the All Saints district are planning performances to run throughout the day and into the evening Saturday.  Events include exhibits and gallery showings, films, concerts, comedy—there’s even an alleycat bike race.  Organizers are planning to hold the festival every month as a kind of follow up to First Fridays in Railroad Square.  They’re hoping the back to back events will make the Gaines Street neighborhood a destination for locals and tourists alike.

Nick Evans came to Tallahassee to pursue a masters in communications at Florida State University. He graduated in 2014, but not before picking up an internship at WFSU. While he worked on his degree Nick moved from intern, to part-timer, to full-time reporter. Before moving to Tallahassee, Nick lived in and around the San Francisco Bay Area for 15 years. He listens to far too many podcasts and is a die-hard 49ers football fan. When Nick’s not at work he likes to cook, play music and read.
