Tallahassee, FL – The Florida Chamber of Commerce rolled out its wish-list for the 2012 lawmaking session today Thursday. Tom Flanigan reports there are a few exceptions to the Chamber's "less taxes, more business" stance.

Once again the Chamber is pushing its "Six Pillars" agenda in support of Florida's business community. Less regulation and lower taxes are part of the picture. But Chamber President and CEO Mark Wilson says there's one case in which he'd like to see the state collect MORE taxes.

"If you go down to your local small businesses and you purchase something, they're required to collect a sales tax. We believe the same thing should apply to online retailers."

Likewise, Wilson says the Chamber wants to see all but one Florida business sector grow.

"Where the Florida Chamber has reaffirmed its twenty-year position is that we're strongly against the expansion of casino gambling in Florida."

Other Chamber priorities for the upcoming session, making it tougher for people to sue businesses and scam auto insurers, while making it easier for businesses to obtain building and other government permits.
