  • Celebrating our 16th Blast on The Bay in 2026, Florida’s Gulf Coast premier boutique songwriters festival!

Blast on the Bay Songwriters’ Festival 2026
Four days. Dozens of songwriters. Some of the best little listening rooms, restaurants, bars, parks and waterfront spots on Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

Blast on the Bay returns October 15–18, 2026, for another unforgettable weekend of songs, stories and the people who wrote them.

Each October, songwriters from Nashville and beyond make their way to Port St. Joe for a festival that has become known for something increasingly hard to find: the chance to sit just a few feet away from incredibly talented writers and hear the stories behind the songs.

No giant arena. No seat three hundred yards from the stage.

At Blast on the Bay, you may find yourself sitting in a local pub, on a waterfront patio or under the Florida sky listening to a songwriter explain how a song came together — and then play the version that existed before the rest of the world ever heard it.

For 2026, we’re expecting around 40 songwriters and performers throughout the weekend, including returning Blast favorites and plenty of new faces making their first trip to the Forgotten Coast. This year’s confirmed lineup already includes Kendell Marvel, Tim Buppert, Jason Byrd, Brian White, Jesse Rice, Karen Waldrup, Jimmy Miller, Jeff Silvey, Lauren Spring, Lee Newton and many more — with additional artists still being announced.

  • A benefit concert supporting the protection of farms, forests, and front porches for future generations in Georgia

    Friday, November 13, 2026 | Madison, Georgia | 6:30 PM Doors Open
    Madison-Morgan Cultural Center Auditorium

Spend an extraordinary evening with Rolling Stones Musical Director, conservationist, and Georgia native Chuck Leavell to benefit Georgia's newest nationally accredited regional land trust.

    Why Bloody Fingers Tour?

Chuck Leavell helped the Madison-Morgan Conservancy celebrate its 25th anniversary last year with an evening that became the stuff of MMC legend. After an unfortunate encounter with a steak knife earlier that day, Chuck took the stage with a bloody finger and played the entire evening. It was equal parts unforgettable music, great storytelling, and proof that nothing, including a little blood, was going to keep Chuck Leavell from the piano.

Now, he’s back, and this time, he’s bringing friends.

Chuck Leavell will be joined by Randall Bramblett, Nick Johnson, Michael Steele, and Gerry Hansen for an intimate evening of exceptional music, stories, and conversation, all in support of land conservation.

In the intimate setting of a historic 400-seat auditorium renowned for its exceptional acoustics, you’ll be close to the music and the musicians with not a bad seat in the house. Enjoy an evening that brings together legendary talent, remarkable stories, and a shared belief that Georgia is worth protecting for generations to come.

And that is exactly what your ticket supports.

Every ticket helps the Madison-Morgan Conservancy protect the land, farms, forests, waterways, and special places that make our communities, and Georgia, worth preserving.

Want to meet Chuck Leavell? Become a sponsor and join Chuck Leavell for a pre-concert meet and greet.

Over a career spanning more than five decades, Chuck Leavell has shared the stage with the Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, John Mayer, and countless other music legends. Yet his most enduring work may be happening away from the stage. A lifelong champion of conservation, Chuck has helped protect hundreds of acres of his own family’s Georgia farm and has spent decades advocating for the places, people, and landscapes that shape our lives.
