Join us for our 9th Annual Easter Egg Hunt! A time-honored tradition, Easter was historically celebrated with a picnic, games, and time for fellowship with all who worked here. Today, Easter at Pebble Hill continues the celebration with games, food, and fun activities. It is a day for families and friends to enjoy the beauty of Pebble Hill and celebrate Easter in the tradition of the Hannas and Irelands.

All of the fun and festivities are held on our Main Grounds.

There are three age groups for our egg hunts:

2–4-year-olds

5-7year-olds

8-10 year-olds

Tickets on sale February 24th at noon. . Deadline to purchase tickets is March 31st.

Tickets are $5 for children, $10 for adults, FREE for children 1 year and under.

Join our talented horticulturist and floral designer, Laura Strickland, for a morning of fresh spring flowers and fun! Create your own stunning arrangement of spring blooms and fresh greenery to proudly display in your home. All supplies and materials for the workshop are included. Participants are asked to bring your own gardening gloves and pruning shears to cut your plant material to size.

Where Creativity Meets Code — No Experience Required.

Join us at Domi Station for the first-ever Codeless Vibathon, a one-day creative technology experience designed to unlock your imagination in the age of AI. Whether you’re a student, artist, designer, or entrepreneur, this is your chance to explore how human creativity and machine intelligence can build the future—together.

Over the course of 12 hours, participants will form teams, learn foundational creative AI tools, and bring their ideas to life across four expressive tracks:

🎨 Static — Image Generation
🎞️ Movement — Animation
🎵 Sound — Music & Audio Creation
💻 Vibe — Interactive / No-Code Experiences
Each track is guided by experts from The Bureau of Creative Intelligence and Domi Station, culminating in a 4-hour team build session and live showcase where teams present their creations for awards and recognition.

The evening concludes with Codeless After Dark, a community mixer featuring music, visuals, and networking with Tallahassee’s creative and tech communities.

Mark your calendars for the 3rd Annual Playwriting Festival of Original Works, presented by Friends with the Write Stuff, taking place April 24–26, 2026 at the Theatre Tallahassee Studio (1861 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303).

This three-day Festival celebrates new voices and bold storytelling through staged readings of original short and full-length plays.

Attendees will experience fresh scripts, meet working playwrights, and gain insight into the creative process behind new plays. The Festival highlights creativity in action and celebrates the power of new stories on stage. Full schedule and ticket details will be announced soon. Proceeds support the Theatre Tallahassee Youth Education Program.

Playwrights: Share Your Story
The Festival is also seeking participating writers. Whether you’re a budding or an established playwright, if you have a story to tell, we want to hear it. Friends with the Write Stuff is currently accepting submissions of 10–15-minute plays to be considered for staged readings as part of the Festival.

About Friends with the Write Stuff:
Friends with the Write Stuff—with current core members Bev DeMello, Michelle R. Nickens, Bert A. Mitchell and Danielle Wirsansky—is a dynamic collective of writers who gather regularly to foster creativity and support each other's craft. The group’s original members were inspired to begin taking their pieces to the next level through staged readings following a 2022 playwrights Q&A session hosted by Theatre Tallahassee. The following year, their first staged reading event was held at the Monticello Opera House. Friends with the Write Stuff provides a nurturing environment for playwrights at various stages of their careers, from budding talents to seasoned professionals. During their meetings, members share drafts of their latest works, offer constructive feedback, and brainstorm ideas. They also organize staged readings, helping members refine their work and gain exposure. United by a common love for the theatre, Friends with the Write Stuff is dedicated to promoting creativity and excellence in playwriting.

Students, families, and community members are invited to dine for a cause as Smalls Sliders partners with Dance Marathon at Florida State University (DM at FSU) for a special Giveback Night. During the event timeframe, 10% of all sales will be donated to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and help provide critical care, resources, and support for children in need. Guests planning to participate should simply mention they are there for the Giveback Night when ordering to ensure their purchase is included in the donation.

Dance Marathon at FSU is one of the university’s largest student-run philanthropic organizations, uniting hundreds of students each year to raise funds and awareness for pediatric patients and their families. Their efforts make a meaningful impact both on campus and in the broader community.

Guests can enjoy Smalls’ cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders, seasoned waffle fries, and hand-spun milkshakes while supporting a powerful student-led cause.

A triplet and second-degree black belt in Taekwondo, Jacob brings discipline and intensity to his writing. While pursuing a career in air traffic control, he continues to write in his spare time, exploring psychological and cosmic horror.

In The Ways Women Read, Dr. Betty Sue Newman takes you on an inspiring journey from a Florida farm to earning her PhD in Literacy Studies—woven together with the powerful stories of Southern women whose lives were forever shaped by reading and writing. Their voices reveal how literacy isn’t just a skill, but a force that builds identity, resilience, and legacy.

ABOUT BETTY SUE & JAY NEWMAN
Betty Sue completed her PhD in Literary Studies at UPenn and went on to teach and consult in many schools in Tallahassee and more over the years. She was the head of Rickards High School’s IB program for 17 years. She and Jay were married for over 60 years. Jay compiled and edited Betty Sue's research to honor her hard work and memory.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Pebble Hill invites the public to a special curator-led tour of the exhibition Pebble Hill Plantation: A 200-Year Legacy with Curator Lori Curtis.

This guided tour will spotlight the women of Pebble Hill and their leadership in family life, community engagement, health, education, and the arts. Guests will enjoy stories and view objects that are rarely shared with the public, offering fresh insight into the lasting impact of these remarkable women.

Living Up to the Legacy: Legacy FC

Legacy FC begins its inaugural season with strong ties to the Panama City soccer community. We host Legacy FC at home on Friday, June 26 in our final 850 Cup match and final regular season home game — a night that could define the season.

Join Tallahassee Soccer Club as we play in our NINTH season playing as your local men's minor league soccer team.

After finishing 8-1-2 in 2025, the Battle Lions are ready to build on that momentum playing in The League for Clubs' Gulf Coast Conference. With 10 regular season matches and playoff implications in every game, this summer promises intensity from start to finish.

The top two teams from each division advance to the Conference Playoffs, with division winners hosting cross-division semifinals. The Gulf Coast Conference Champion will then face the South Texas Conference Champion for a place in the TLfC National Finals.

With 47 clubs competing nationwide in the League for Clubs, the path to the National Finals is tougher than ever — and the Battle Lions are ready for the challenge.

Founded by a former Battle Lion, Valdosta FC visits Gene Cox on Saturday, June 13. Join Tallahassee Soccer Club as we play in our NINTH season playing as your local men's minor league soccer team.

After finishing 8-1-2 in 2025, the Battle Lions are ready to build on that momentum playing in The League for Clubs' Gulf Coast Conference. With 10 regular season matches and playoff implications in every game, this summer promises intensity from start to finish.
