Tallahassee – Three years ago this week, Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and the surrounding Gulf Coast. Lack of planning and a disorganized response made the disaster even worse. Now federal officials say they're ready as Hurricane Gustav draws a bead on the same area. Tom Flanigan reports
Forecasters say Gustav could be a major category four or five storm when it hits the U.S. sometime next week. The latest forecast track has it targeting the same area of the Gulf Coast struck by Katrina. Erin Streeter is the chief of Emergency Preparedness for the Federal Department of Homeland Security
