Bay County Health Officials To Discuss Ways To Better Identify, Address Residents' Needs

Bay County health officials are inviting the public to a meeting Thursday to discuss ways to better identify and address area residents’ health needs.

As part of their “Community Health Improvement Plan also called CHIP,” Bay County Health officials say they’ll provide updates on three top issues.

They are mental health and substance abuse, healthy weight and healthy lifestyles, and chronic diseases, like diabetes.

Health disparities within the Bay County area is also on the agenda.

The meeting will be held at the Bay County Library from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday.
