The online format will permit additional workshops and seminars.

Like so many events over the past year, Leon County's Sustainability Summit next month will be a virtual affair. That format will allow organizers to pack more topics into more days than ever before. Instead of a single daylong event as in previous years, county Sustainability Manager Tessa Schreiner said the 2021 Summit will run from April 6th through the 10th.

"There are sessions that range from beekeeping and composting, all the way to creating your own sustainability action plan for your family, your work or organization."

Schreiner added participants can choose as many - or as few - sessions as they want.

"We really hope in this Summit to provide people with the knowledge and tools to integrate sustainability in action and practice in their own lives because it's now more important than ever."

Free registration for the sessions can be found on the Sustainability Summit's website.
