Punk Rock is a genre of music that was born in basements, garages, and venues in the late 70s and continues to evolve to this day. The genre was based on anti-establishment views and a do-it-yourself attitude that made for some of the most different music created at the time, with lyrics, sounds, and presentations that were shocking to listeners that weren’t fans.
