Will the Leon County and City of Tallahassee governments merge?

Voters in November will be asked a non-binding question. Do they want the governments of Tallahassee and Leon County to merge under County governance? On today’s Speaking Of, we consider the pros and cons of such a move and explore what a governmental consolidation would mean. If the merger was to go forward, Tallahassee would join Jacksonville and Duval County as Florida’s only consolidated municipalities.
