FAMU's new President, Marva Johnson, came to the role with plenty of controversy, due to her ties to Governor Ron DeSantis and concerns about her lack of experience in academia. Before coming to FAMU, she was Group Vice President of State Government Affairs for Charter Communications, a cable and broadband company. We’re talking about all of that as we mark Johnson’s first 100 days as president. She sat down with Gina Jordan for an interview that was recorded last week at The Lawson Center on the FAMU campus.
