Tallahassee Downtown presents “Movies in the Park: Wizard of Oz,” September 10th at 7:30PM in Kleman Plaza. It is open to the public.

The Tallahassee Community Friends of Old-Time Dance present Contra Dance, September 12th at 7:15 PM, at the Tallahassee Senior Center. Information is available on Facebook and tallydancer.com.

Shine Tallahassee presents “An Evening of Jazz with Avis Berry and Friends,” September 13th at 7PM, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Tickets and information can be found at shinetallahassee.org/events.

The Florida State College of Music presents “Saxophone Day 2025,” September 13th at the College of Music. Information is available on the FSU Saxophone Day 2025 Facebook page.

The Tallahassee Film Society presents, “Monk in Pieces,” September 13th and 14th at the Challenger Learning Center. Tickets and information can be found at tallahasseefilms.com.

The Tallahassee Symphony orchestra has their first concert of the season, featuring guest pianist Evren Ozel and music by Ortiz, Bartok, and Rachmaninoff, September 13th at 7:30PM in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. Ozel is also giving a solo recital on September 14th at 2:30PM in Opperman Music Hall. Tickets and information for both are available at tallahasseesymphony.org.

The Museum of Fine Arts at FSU presents “The Journey of Memories Exhibition.” The exhibit runs through September 22nd, and the gallery is open to the public.
