Week of July 28th

The Gadsden Arts Center and Museum presents the 37th Art in Gadsden Juried Exhibition, featuring our region’s artists living within 200 miles of Quincy. Nurmerous styles and media will be represented. The Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony is August 1st from 5-7 PM and the exhibit runs through September 13th. Quincy Music Theatre presents the regional premiere of the musical “Be More Chill,” August 1st through 3rd. Tickets and information are available at quincymusictheatre.com.

The Museum of Fine Arts at FSU presents “Storytime Studio: The Rainbow Weaver,” August 2nd from 10AM to noon. After the reading, participants will learn how to make woven bracelets and charms. This event is open to the public.

Tallahassee Downtown and COCA present “Anhinga Music & Art Festival,” August 2nd from 3-9PM in Kleman Plaza. This new festival features live music, local artists, food trucks and more. It is open to the public.

The Tallahassee Film Society presents the “2025 Cat Video Fest” featuring a compilation of the best and latest cat videos, August 2nd and 3rd at the Challenger Learning Center. Tickets and information can be found at tallahasseefilms.com.

The Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery at FAMU presents, “Sunsum” a multimedia exhibition of works by Afia Nson Bonsu, through August 8th. The gallery is open to the public.
