Week of May 26th

The Museum of Fine Arts at FSU presents the opening Reception for “Women Among Us: Portraits of Strength,” featuring 37 portraits of accomplished women in the Big Bend area ages 65 or older, May 29th from 5:30-7:30PM. It is open to the public.

The Florida State University College of Music presents the Summer Opera, Orfeo ed Euridice by Gluck, May 30th and 31st at 7:30PM in Opperman Music Hall. Tickets and information can be found at tickets.music.fsu.edu.

The Tallahassee Film Society presents “Marcella,” May 31st and June 1st at the Challenger Learning Center. Tickets and information are available at tallahasseefilms.com.

The Tallahassee Bach Parley has their final concert of the season “Handel in a Coal Merchants Attic.” The open dress rehearsal is May 31st and the performance is June 1st, both at 3PM at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Information can be found at bachparley.org.

The Mickee Faust Club presents “Queer as Faust XVII Cabaret,” May 30th through June 14th on Fridays and Saturdays, at House of Music in Tallahassee. Tickets and information are available at mickeefaust.com.

The Museum of Fine Arts at FSU presents “Conversaciones: Latin American Indigenous Art through June 25th. The museum is open to the public.

Theatre Tallahassee presents “Lend Me a Soprano,” June 5th through 22nd. Tickets and information can be found at theatretallahassee.org.
