The Leon County Government presents Countdown at Cascades with J & The Causeways and Lili Forbes, December 31st, from 6-10PM, at the Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park. Countdown to the new year with live music, food trucks, and two fireworks shows. The event is open to the public.
ACERS and COCA present the First Friday of the New Year at Railroad Square, January 3rd from 6-9PM. Galleries and shops will be open, and there will be live music, food, and more. It is open to the public.
The Jefferson Arts Gallery presents their annual Holiday Show, “The Colors of Christmas,” through January 4th. The Gallery is filled with original creations and handmade gifts. It is open to the public.
The Tallahassee Film Society presents “Dusty & Stones,” a film about two struggling country music stars from the African kingdom of Swaziland who journey to Texas to participate in a battle of the bands. The film will play January 4th and 5th at the Challenger Learning Center. Tickets and information can be found at tallahasseefilms.com.
The Leon County Public Library at the Bruce J. Host Northeast Branch Library presents, “Animal Array by Tom Mitas,” showcasing Mitas’s collection of wildlife paintings. The exhibit runs through January 31st and is open to the public during library hours.
