Week of April 15th

The FSU Wind Ensemble has a concert on April 16th at 7:30PM in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. Tickets and information can be found at tickets.music.fsu.edu.

The FAMU Jazz Ensemble presents a Tribute to Julian “Cannonball” and Nathaniel “Nat” Adderley, April 18th at 7:30PM at Lee Hall Auditorium. The concert is in conjunction with the naming ceremony of the Adderley Music Institute at FAMU, which occurs at 5PM. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

Mac Daddy Blues Productions presents, Rusty Wright Blues Band, April 19th at 8PM at the American Legion Hall. Tickets and information can be found at bbclegion.com.

The Thomasville Center for the Arts presents, “Due South,” celebrating the sights, sounds, and tastes of the south, on April 20th from 6-10PM at the Ritz Amphitheater. Tickets and information are available at thomasvillearts.org/duesouth/

The 24th Annual Chain of Parks Art Festival is this week, April 20th and 21st at the Downtown Chain of Parks. The festival runs 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday and features works of art by 150 artists, children’s activities, food trucks, live entertainment, and more. The event is open to the public.

The Tallahassee Film Society presents, “Young Frankenstein” 40th Anniversary April 20th and 21st and “Gene Wilder” April 19th through 21st at All Saints Cinema. Tickets and information can be found at tallahasseefilms.com.

Making Light Productions presents, “Working: A Musical” through April 21st. Tickets and information are available at makinglightproductions.org.
