Florida YouthShine (Striving High for Independence and Empowerment) is a youth-run organization with representation across the state. Membership is composed of teens and young adults between the ages of 13-24, who are either currently or former foster youths within the Florida child welfare system.

The Community Connections Program serves youths between the ages of 13-17, referred through the legal system, or difficulty in school and/or at home. Community Connections operates on a 12-week cycle composed of key components based on the principles of restorative justice.
