Former Florida Governor and U.S. Senator Bob Graham says Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy won’t be swayed by donations to her family’s foundation. Graham’s comments come after Donald Trump blasted contributions to the Clintons’ charity.

Democrat Bob Graham wants the next president to re-evaluate Washington’s relationship with Saudi Arabia.

“I believe the evidence is mounting that the government and private organizations need to re-calibrate what they feel about Saudi Arabia,” he said.

Graham led the Senate Intelligence Committee during the War on Terror and co-chaired the congressional investigation into the September 11th attacks. Graham says Saudi Arabia had a hand in the attacks, and in fueling terrorist organizations like al-Qaida and the Taliban.

“The common feature of all of these is that they’ve gotten their seed money, their basic financing and much of their support in terms of recruits from Saudi Arabia. I think it’s critical that we confront Saudi Arabia,” he said.

Graham says Hillary Clinton’s Middle East policy won’t be affected by foreign donations to her family’s foundation. According to Politifact, Saudis donated less than $25 million to the Clintons’ charity. If the democratic candidate is elected, the Clinton Foundation will stop accepting funds from foreign donors and corporations.
