Walter Dartland, a Democrat, is officially facing off against Republican Neal Dunn in Congressional District Two.
According to the Florida Department of State’s website, both a machine and hand recount are complete and show Dartland ahead of Democratic primary candidate Steve Crapps. Dartland beat Crapps by just 133 votes, a small enough margin to trigger the recounts. After Hurricane Hermine hit Tallahassee, Leon County officials conducted their machine recount using generators over the weekend. Local officials completed a hand recount Tuesday afternoon.
