The Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend have joined forces to bring you the 42nd Annual Firecracker 5K Race and 1-Mile Sparkler Run at Cascades Park on July 4th, 2025. Both races welcome all runners while the 1-Mile Run is geared towards children. All family and friends are welcome to join us for Tallahassee's largest Independence Day kickoff event. In addition to the race, we will have free kids activities and treats. Details for event registration, packet pick-ups, and more will be shared soon, be sure to mark your calendars!

Tickets are free to Members and are available to purchase online​. This event benefits the Tallahassee Museum's mission on education, preservation, and conservation in the community.

Designed for children ages 6-12, this camp offers an exciting opportunity for young artists to enjoy hands-on activities like painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and more, all under the guidance of experienced art instructors. Registration opens April 1st, and scholarships are available.
