First Fridays @ Railroad Square is a recurring monthly event, and a long-time favorite of Tallahassee residents.All are invited to come enjoy a lively yet relaxed evening of perusing open galleries and creative micro-businesses, sampling local food, and connecting with our unique community.
There is so much to experience at Railroad Square! From vintage and antiques, to specialty stores and fine art, a non-profit theater, an authentic pinball arcade, a non-profit bookstore, a cult cinema…there’s truly something for everyone!
You should come to First Friday if you like:- One-of-a-kind Community Atmosphere- Delicious food and beverages, like Halisi Africa, Flamingoz, Reggae Rails, numerous food trucks, and more!- Creative local goods- Music- Some of the best people watching in the city
*Wear walking shoes! Roads close by 6pm to ensure pedestrian safety. After that time, you will need to park along FAMU Way or another location and walk (or call a Capital City PediCab!). We encourage carpooling and drop-offs.
*First Friday happens RAIN OR SHINE. Even if it rains, the rain almost never lasts the whole evening...so come on out!

Bring your favorite girl and spend an easy afternoon making memories together. Join us on June 6th from 1–3 PM for our Daddy Daughter Ride/Drive-In. Whether you roll in on two wheels or four, it’s all about the time you spend together.We’ll have cupcake decorating, bracelet making, and a fun photo spot set up so you can capture the day. The Red Hills Small Farm Alliance invites you to join us for the 21st Annual Tomato Feastival on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the beautiful Goodwood Museum & Gardens.
Each year, more than a thousand friends, farmers, and food lovers gather to celebrate the peak of tomato season and the vibrant local food community that makes the Red Hills region so special. The Feastival is a joyful afternoon filled with fresh flavors, family-friendly activities, a tomato contest, local vendors, beer garden, and creative bites inspired by the summer harvest.
Proceeds from the Feastival support the Red Hills Small Farm Alliance’s work all year long—strengthening local farms, connecting producers and consumers, and growing community through local food.

Join us this summer for an exciting summer camp adventure at Pebble Hill Plantation! Budding naturalists will explore the great outdoors at Pebble Hill through nature observation, journaling and sketching, bird watching, creative art projects, and more! With the guidance from local naturalists and artists, campers will learn how to observe and sketch nature applying similar techniques used by famous naturalists and artists like John James Audubon and William Bartram. Each day will be filled with fun, hands-on, outdoor learning experiences and nature-based art creations that will inspire campers to develop a curiosity and connection with the natural world around them while nurturing their artistic expression. The final day of camp will include a family and friends' reception and public art exhibition of the campers’ nature-inspired works of art.
