Beginning with the prehistoric period, up to modern times in Florida, the Wakulla County Historical Society is presenting history of our area through clothing worn. Partners include the Miccosukee Tribe of Florida, Goodwood Museum and Gardens, Riley House museum and Theatre with a Mission; each of whom collect and will show historic clothing. In addition, community members will be wearing period dress or reproduction clothing representing historical periods and events. The narrated program will also include an English tea. Menu includes hot tea with cream, sugar and lemon; blueberry and ginger scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam; spinach and egg bake; cucumber, egg salad and ham salad finger sandwiches, and fresh fruit, which may also be enjoyed with clotted cream.
