The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Fifteen-year-old Christopher discovers his neighbor's dog, Wellington, speared with a garden fork in the middle of the night — and sets out to solve the mystery, recording every clue in a book of his own. Christopher is exceptionally gifted at math and logic but struggles to navigate everyday life: he has never traveled alone beyond the end of his road, he cannot bear to be touched, and he does not trust strangers. His forbidden investigation soon leads him far from home and turns his family's world upside down.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time won five 2015 Tony Awards, including Best Play, and has been celebrated internationally for its inventive staging and its vivid portrayal of a young mind that sees the world differently.
