The 2025 Summer Reading Program continues into its second week on Monday, June 23 through June 27 at both the Eastpoint and Carrabelle Branch Libraries. Sponsored by the Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries, this program features fun and imaginative activities and events for both kids and adults. Library programs are free and open to the public—no library card required.
This year’s theme, “Color Our World,” highlights art and creativity at the Franklin County Public Libraries. The program is designed to inspire and engage readers of all ages through a variety of artistic expressions. Guests are invited to celebrate every page, paint stroke, and performance that adds a little more color to the world.

+ Tue., June 24 - Adult Crafts: Community Puzzle Mural @ 2:30 pm at both branches
+ Wed., June 25 - FPAN Presents "Puzzle Pieces of Our Past" @ 10:00 am at Eastpoint and @ 1:00 pm at Carrabelle. Registration is required. Max 20.
+ Thur., June 26 - Kids Art Workshop: Sun Catchers @ 11:00 am at both branches. Ages 6-12.
+ Fri., June 27 - Jacki Manna Ventriloquist Show @ 10:00 am at Eastpoint and 1:00 pm at Carrabelle

Summer Reading is an annual program that brings children, teens, and families to local public libraries for reading and activities. A Summer Reading Program:
+ encourages lifelong reading habits,
+ supports reluctant readers with activities,
+ helps children maintain their skills over the summer,
+ generates interest in the library and books, and
+ can just be good fun and provide an opportunity for family time.
The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the Franklin County Public Libraries in Eastpoint and Carrabelle, FL.
