In-Person Voting
Want to vote in-person in Georgia, but wonder if you have the right ID?
You can use a Georgia driver’s license as your voter ID, even if it’s expired.
You can also use unexpired photo ID from the US Government or any other state, military ID, tribal ID, a U.S. passport, and more.
Or you can get a free Georgia Voter ID from your county Registrar or DDS office.

Voting by mail?
Any registered Georgia voter may vote absentee.
When you apply for your absentee ballot, you must include your Georgia driver’s license number or state ID number.
Don’t have either of those ID numbers?
You can use a copy of an unexpired photo ID, a current utility bill, bank statement or a paycheck with your name and address.
