JOYCE CAROL OATES is the prolific author of some of the most enduring fiction of our time, including bestsellers, "We Were the Mulvaney’s," "Blonde," and "The Falls." Her published works also include many critically acclaimed collections of short fiction and essays, plays, and poetry.
