Tallahassee, FL — WFSU Public Media announces the launch of the station’s new regional initiative -- The 365 Club – a unique community campaign that enables local businesses and organizations to underwrite/sponsor an entire day of WFSU programming.
The concept is simple: 365 days available for 365 sponsors. Participating sponsors select meaningful dates during the campaign year that align with anniversaries, company milestone celebrations or other important occasions -- and receive 10 on-air broadcast recognitions
throughout that day on 88.9 WFSU. The 365 Club kicks off July 1, 2026, through June 30th, 2027.
Ahead of the launch, 25 days of sponsorships have already been embraced by local supportive groups, organizations and businesses!
“The 365 Club is the best ticket for organizations who care about WFSU’s purpose, programs, and mission to support it through a meaningful decision to join and sponsor any day of WFSU radio,” said Crystal Cumbo, Corporate Underwriting Manager at WFSU Public Media.
While the 365 Club offers a single-day sponsorship opportunity for a tax-deductible $1,200 commitment, it also reflects the broader value of underwriting with WFSU. Sponsors can align their message with WFSU’s trusted journalism, quality educational programming, and reliable cultural storytelling that have served North Florida and the Panhandle for decades.
“At a time when public media budgets have been ravaged and savaged by drastic cuts by government, supporting our beloved WFSU public media is more important than ever,” said Ron Sachs, Founder/Chairman of Sachs Media, and the WFSU supporter who conceived the 365 Club project. “This is the best way for businesses, community groups, classrooms and others to show their dedication for the vital services delivered by WFSU every day.”
And, said Cumbo, “underwriting ensures we can continue delivering the programming our community depends on".
The calendar is wide open for entry into the 365 Club. To reserve a date, visit wfsu.org/365 or contact WFSU Public Media directly at 850-645-6047 or email ccumbo@fsu.edu
