WFSU named 3-time winner in 2022 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award competition

This week, WFSU Public Media was awarded three 2022 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. The RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards are among the most prestigious in broadcast and digital news. WFSU Public Media is a member of RTDNA Region 13 which includes news organizations located in Florida, Georgia, and Puerto Rico.

The Radio Television Digital News Association has been honoring outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971. Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Murrow set as a standard for the profession of broadcast and digital journalism. WFSU was awarded the following 2022 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards:

Regional winners automatically move on to the national round of consideration, which also includes digital news organizations, networks, and student competitors. The Murrow Awards recognize local and national news stories that uphold the RTDNA Code of Ethics, demonstrate technical expertise and exemplify the importance and impact of journalism as a service to the community. Murrow Award-winning work demonstrates the excellence that Edward R. Murrow made a standard for the broadcast news profession.
