The LeMoyne Art Foundation is asking the Tallahassee Downtown Redevelopment Commission for a grant to help support the next phase of its Art for Always Master Plan project. The foundation is seeking feedback on its proposal at the Downtown CRA meeting Tuesday morning.

The LeMoyne Art Foundation is hoping to secure up to $175,000 in grant funding from the downtown CRA. That money will help support a multi-phased project for the LeMoyne Art Foundation campus that will include three buildings, a ceramic kiln pavilion, sculpture gardens and an education center.

The foundation is looking to the CRA for funds that will go toward creating a deck and storage space for the ceramic workshop. The funds will also go towards the renovation of an annex building on Call Street and will support landscaping and accessibility improvements.

The foundation is expected to use feedback from the meeting to finalize its funding request.
